Shop sent a video of the LS3 running today and is sounds mean! Can't figure out how to upload a video here so hopefully this link works. https://photos.app.goo.gl/JJJVdbCZLaTuvsSo6

Is there an exhaust on it yet, or is that open header?
Just some car ****. This is my '99 with heads/cam/blower LS3.

The exhaust is on but it is basically straight pipes. It goes headers, into x-pipe with no cats, then a Borla straight pips out the back. No muffler or anything.
Your car must be pretty damn insane

They are Speed Engineering 1 7/8" long tubes and their x-pipe

So it's purely a track car?

It's entertaining.

I'm running long tubes from TS&P into Random Technologies High Flow cats, and out through a Flowmaster cat-back. The intermediate and X pipe were fabbed up by a local shop.

Yep it's just a track car...I was going to just keep it all stock (besides a new seat) and just beat on it but funny how quickly the mods add up with the addiction hits and hits hard
What is the shop charging for the engine swap?
Are they a performance shop?
Shop is charging $6k. That includes all the labor, parts (including headers, x-pipe, LS7 clutch and new flywheel, adapter, converters, sensors, misc parts, etc.), and dyno tuning. He said it's on the dyno today and will send the video and numbers on Monday.

The LS7 clutch is a really good choice. That's what I used. It handles all the power, even with my boosted engine, but I don't look like
Dyno numbers are in...It made 446hp and 428 ft lbs (rounding to the closest whole number) to the wheels. If you account for 15% drive train loss, then this is spot on what GM advertised so pretty happy with those.
