i just put an optima red top in mine thursday.it might be a tad heavier than the oem piece of junk.i would rather have the car start though.i had the original battery go completely dead 3 times.my car sometimes doesn't get started for weeks at a time.

Yeah-it was a real joy the first time the display went dark-driving on the 95 and I though my car was shutting down. ... Dee
I'm glad to know this isn't just me. I just got my new-to-me z on Saturday. Then on Saturday night the display went dark for a second. And then it happened again...both times while accelerating. "Oh my gawd...the car may self destruct."

We have a 2002 Cavalier LS and the same thing happens, when you turn on the rear defroster, or the front defroster the head lights get a little dimmer i noticed it about 4 months ago. So i guess it's a problem in all chevrolet vehicals!
