Came across this while browsing. It's listed as number 2 of 4 tribute corvettes buit. A 2002. Anybody ever heard of it? I love my yellow 2000 but the red,white and blue color scheme reminds me the C4 Grand Sports
I saw one in that exact spec for sale at a dealer near me about 5 years ago when I was searching for a C5. Quite honestly, I think it looks pretty weird. But I guess it's better than the McDonald's color scheme of yellow with red interior!

Never heard of a 9-11 Vette - especially designated as such from the factory. JMO, but I would suspect that a dealer just ordered it that way and someone, either the dealer or the first owner, claimed it as a 9-11 edition.
I would have to see factory documentation to believe the story.

Yes my grandfather has one of the 4. It's totally one of a kind and worth it. I've been searching online to find more info on the car and I can't find anything, so if you have anymore information that would be amazing.
I have a White Knuckle suv, the Electron Blue and Ford Lightning Blue C5s.... I just need a red car to give this household the full flag effect.
I love red cars. My first Camaro was red. Try as I might to find a red car I have instead ended up with my Black 2000 C5 when new, then a Black 94 TA GT, then a Black 1999 C5 and a Black S600 (sought Desert Silver Metallic in that case), before finally finding an Electron Blue when I sought it, but then back to the Ford Lightning Blue on the newest C5 coupe which was the best deal in the country for the hardware but not a color I even really like. If I keep it, maybe I'll paint it RED!
