You didn’t mention sticky tires. Leave traction control on if you have street tires. A summer only tire is not a sticky tire either, I’m talking drag radials. With the kind of power I think you have, your tires might be spinning going into 3rd gear, especially if it’s 50 degrees outside.
First passes - traction control on, especially in cooler ambient and track surface temperatures. As above, need to know what tires you will be running and any previous racing experience.
At any rate, start with nannies on, and only make single changes from pass to pass. The goal is steady improvement, no one runs their best times on their first track day. Examples of changes: Tire pressure, traction control settings, launch RPM, etc.
What blower are you running - centri/pd/twin screw?

Im running a centrifugal blower. I've ran plenty of times, but with this car and never at this power level. I have M/T ET streets.
Its gonna be a cold day on sunday! Im not looking for the best the car can do, i just got it back, not ready to break it again just yet

So is competition driving usefull at all?
Knowing your tires and that you have some experience, I would say traction control off with the ET Streets. Cold track temps will hurt, make sure your burnout puts some good heat into the tire and sidewall. Centri I assume is a procharger, which should help you keep from blowing the tires off. Might need to short shift 1st, and try not to shock the diff with a clutch drop, progressive leg movement is much better. What is your clutch setup?

Minster Twin Disc built it to be a fun street car, but curious to see what it will do at the track.
I'm interested in seeing how you do. I have a similar setup. I would start in Comp Driving Mode. Heat the tires good. Slip the clutch. Good luck and be sure to report back.

I'm gonna be in your neck of the woods. Track rental at Cecil.

agreed, comp Driving mode keeps the active handling on, and traction control off, I think, right??? Yea, don’t break it, let off if you start getting sideways. You can always run multiple runs.

Good luck, report back with drag times please.
Good advice. I will only add that IF the OP must let off with the rear starting to go sideways, he should try to let off somewhat slowly. If you kill the throttle, and hit the brakes with the car partially sideways, when the tires suddenly stop spinning you run the risk of having the car go into a wobble, left to right, right to left.... If going 70mph in 2nd gear, I guarantee afterwards you will need an underwear change! Don't ask.....

if the car starts going sideways, your not supposed to touch the brakes, let off, control the car and ride through it. Multiple AutoX runs is great practice for this, low speed and very violent driving. Although I’m not running anywhere near your guy’s power level. Mine doesn’t go sideways at 70. Learned early on, make sure the steering wheel is straight before your right foot goes through the floor, back end kicks out hard and fast.
And beware the rear end. A number of reported cases of the standard diff blowing when on the strip with high power and sticky tires. The only real fix is a C6Z06 trans and rear end.

I think built t56s and built C5 difs are another good option.

Yes. I agree in my post. Letting off suddenly and/or hitting the brakes is a no-no....
