Look nice. Post pics of them mounted. Are the OEM wheels the Magnesium wheels?

Will do, couple of weeks. No, stock wheels are aluminum with a champagne color coating.

If they were the Magnesium wheels, I was going to recommend that you hold onto them.

Keeping all the stock stuff I remove so that if and when I sell, it can be converted back to original.

C6 base wheels are a great choice! But I'm a little biased. Make sure you post up how they look on your car.
Mine have 25mm spacers/adapters pushing the rears out.
I'm running 255/40/18 front & 285/35/19 rear. Lots of tire options in this choice.

I have a mag red 01 myself with C6 wheels in chrome. Even though the set I have are OEM wheels, I still wanted it to look like they came on the car, so I got some C5 logos in vinyl for the center caps which really add a nice touch. They've held up great for the past 3 years as well. I got them on eBay for under $20 for a set of 5.
Looking forward to pics of the black chrome wheels with your blacked out halo.

I always thought the C5 had crappy wheel options except the Z's. On my '97 and '01, put the C6 wheels on, always looked better to me.

Definitely going to C6 wheels after my tires expire…in about 10 years.
Really like the C6 Starfish wheels on the C5 👍

Those look nice! I have been really thinking about changing wheels but wanted something close to the factory thin spoke. After looking at countless wheels the C6 seems the one to get. I am leaning toward a dark graphite vs black. I never noticed your black halo, looks great. I may have to do that as well.

The black halo is just a wrap, which can be removed. To complete a modified two-tone look, will eventually get the rear window tinted.

Put on a set of C6 wheels this spring, that had already had refinished in gun metal grey. I used 20mm spacers in the rear and 3mm spacer in the front.
