Default Billy Boat Headers

Has anyone used/installed Billy Boat headers on their C5? Eyeing some Black Friday deals and would like to hear some experiences before pulling the trigger.

I am aware that Kooks/ARH are top shelf, but I am specifically asking about Billy Boat Headers. Thanks.

I have ran BB on both my 2002 Z06's. One PRT and one Bullet.

The PRT is a little louder than stock at idle at cruising, but when you get on it, it gets loud.

The Bullets are even louder, all the time. They sound like a dinosaur screaming in your ear. They are fantastic!

Fit and finish are as good as any other system out there. Great old school muscle car rumble.

Thanks, though I am asking specifically about the headers - https://www.bbexhaust.com/shop/chevy...ers-fcor-0261/

I once had BB 1-3/4 shorty headers. They did help, partly due to my 2000 OEM manifolds being inferior to the '01-up OEM manifolds. Never ran their LTs, though. I dont even know if they made LTs 20 years ago. So can't say. If I were spending $1,700 for headers, I'd go with Kooks, ARH, Stainless Works, LG, etc. My .02

It appears that these headers have the correct AIR ports, yet they're listed as "off road only". Is there a reason for this?

What mid pipe section do these connect to? The bolt flange and the description almost make it seem like you use the OEM mid pipe, but no way that can be right.

Probably not, as getting CARB compliant is an expensive process, isn't it? Probably not worth the expense...........

If you're lowered, I'm not a fan of 3-bolt flange connections. It reduces ground clearance. I'd prefer slip fit with band clamps.
