True 50th Anniversary Door Interior Cover Plate
In our true 50th anniversary (50th Anniversary Red Editions that have the mostly Shale and Medium dark Neutral interiors) There is a 3 inch oval piece of plastic that is a cover that often falls out it's right behind the darker color leather interior door handle.
THAT COLOR ... If I'm not mistaken .. Is yet a third color that is not either of the other two above. Since I can only get that small plastic cover in black... what color do I paint it?
I don't know the name of that color ...and I'm pretty sure it's not medium dark neutral..
Any thoughts?

The shale door panel screw covers are available: Zip-Corvette
Edit: There was a post recently that provided info on the paint color; I'll see if I can track that down.

As I mentioned in my post quoted above, VetteNuts sells the dark shale access covers as well as shale bezels (single & double din) BUT they are using the wrong dye color, it being a bit too brown, so I repainted their shale 2 din bezel before installing it (before & after photos).
I bought several diff so-called "color-match" cans of paint and these shale colors (dark & light) were by far the closest match. Just lightly scour with scotchbrite, do 2 or 3 coats and no need for a clear topper coat: ColorBond LVP #153 M DK NEUTRAL and ColorBond LVP #156 GM SHALE
