Default FRC trunk space

Hey everyone,

It has been 20 years since ive been in a FRC, is the cabin open to the trunk? or is there a partition between the cabin and trunk? Ive tried searching google, and cant find any photos or videos that really show it

Thanks!

Brandon

It is the same as a convertible with a little more space with no waterfall.

Yep. I do have a trunk partition in my convertible mostly to protect the fabric top when I'm driving top down. I mostly keep my golf clubs in the trunk and the partition helps in keeping the bag from rubbing up against the top. No need for a partition with the FRC unless you want to quiet down the cabin or want to store items behind the seats without them moving further back into the trunk.

Fun fact: I can take the wheels off my 29r MTB and stuff the whole thing in my Z06.
It gets some funny looks @ the trailhead!

There is actually quite a bit of room in the FRC with access from the trunk lid and inside the cabin.

Several years back I bought Quick Jacks from Costco, and transported them ~30 miles in my C5Z. Kept all the packaging intact.

Mine is open to the trunk. I would love a partition if anyone makes it.

I bought mine from Exotic Vette way back in 2004. It's been great and pressure fits with Velcro at the top (I mounted the FE). I like that it doesn't go straight down, rather it fits in at an angle which allows more room in the trunk.
