steering column bypass question

Yes, at least according to Compliance Parts. The recall should have removed the physical ability of the system to lock the column, but still leaves you vulnerable to “pull key, wait 10 seconds” warnings and a 2 mph cut off.

I would spend the money and get the bypass. Too many posts have reported that the factory fix did not do the job.
