Yes, I usually get my OEM parts from parts.gmparts.com or rockauto.com - at this point I would recommend C6 Z06 shocks, nice improvement and a direct bolt-up upgrade
I believe the 2004 Z shock has been discontinued although there are a few sets to be found online. From a performance standard the C6Z shock is slightly better than the 2001-2003Z shock but inferior to the 2004Z shock. If you want to get max performance get the DRM valved Bilstein shocks. For economy the C6Z shocks are the least expensive but slightly increase the ride height.

The c6 z06 shocks perform better than the 2004 shocks?
Think Im just overcomplicating things and should just get the c6 z06 shocks

IIRC, the OE shocks were manufactured by Sachs. Perhaps you can get them direct from the supplier? But, as mentioned Bilstein, Koni, or any reputable manufacturer should be able to hook you up. As mentioned, the revalved Bilsteins are particularly popular.
Although extremely similar, the C6 suspension used quite different wheels, tires and sway bars, so their valving may not be ideal ... and they are not adjustable.
In my experience, adjustable Koni shocks are borderline sublime, but if you are going to spend that kind of money, you should also consider coilovers. Bilstein are probably the best bang for the buck, if you can't find the '04 Z06 shocks.
