Hi forum,
I recently replaced my front turn signal bulbs with LED's, because of the low power draw, the car thinks the bulb is out and I am getting hyperflash. I thought I could deal with it but I can't. On a previous vehicle I had to put in an inline resistor. Has anyone put in LED turn signals? What was your fix for the hyperflash? Thanks.
Thank you for the Amazon link, that was for the taillights, haven't put LED's there yet. Thanks for steering me in the right direction. I was able to find the harness for the fronts. You are appreciated.
Buy a hyper flash harness that you install underneath your steering column. This will prevent all LEDs from experiencing hyper flash. I updated my corners, side markers, and rear tail lights and do not have hyper flash.
Here's one from Forum Vendor Sharp Light Innovations, aka Radio Flyer. This is the same one I've been running for 10 years.
I also run the Sharp Light Innovations hyperflash harness. Installed it at the same time that I installed all the exterior LED bulbs. Not a single issue.
