Just realized that the tires on my newly purchased 99 Convertible are 13 years old. Please point me in a direction for brand, somewhat reasonably priced, not high or low. Thanks in advance!

Firestone indy 500s are fantastic tires for the money. I have had them for several years and give em 2 thumbs up.
General G-Max RS ultra high performance summer only or General G-Max AS05 or AS07 ultra high performance all season. I have the RS on my Corvette and the AS05 on my daily driver and they are both amazing tires for the price. Check them out at TireRack.com.

I bought a full set of General G-Max RS tires last year, and they have been really great and the main reason I chosse them is they are a very quiet tire. The C5 like many Corvettes sit pretty low to the ground and with the seat only about 8" above the concreate, quiet is a significant quility I was looking for. And for what it's worth, General sells their products via Amazon.
Nitto 555G2 are fun and reasonably priced, but I’m a Michelin fan and the PS4S is an amazing tire. The all-season version is really good as well. While price is always a factor, I’ve been comparing braking distances the last few times I’ve shopped. That’s where you’ll see a big difference in performance.
Lots of options out there. I currently run Continental Extreme Contact - did not intend to get these - but while speaking with the guys at Tire Rack found that my size was not in stock in Potenza - and there was a deal on the Conti's - and the associate said "I talk with lots of Corvette guys and have sold many sets of these." They work well enough on the street and I have a separate set for track use....
I agree with Jack. Those Hankooks are really good tires and I was very pleased with them on my widebody Z06.
The tires on my new-to-me 2001 roadster are around 12yrs old and I'll be replacing them soon, with a wheel upgrade.
