Finding an FRC is difficult. I counted six nationwide on Autotrader. You'd probably be better off going for a Z06. If you tell the seller you're only interested in one with the original exhaust you'll get the titanium exhaust with it.
If you do go with the FRC, the titanium exhaust takes weight off the rear of the car. From a exhaust note standpoint it makes little difference at idle or slow acceleration. The exhaust note under those conditions is only a slightly deeper. Under hard acceleration, the exhaust note changes substantially as it becomes really deep and loud compared to the stock/factory exhaust on the FRC.

Finding an FRC can be done, especially if you network with folks like @UniqueDoug who can tap into his resources for you.
One close enough alternative is a FRC / Z06 with CCW SP500s.... to my eye one of the top wheel combos for the car. I love the magnesiums as well. I was dead set on getting them for my C5 when I bought one new in 2000 - especially vs the wagon wheels which had been the base option until that year - but when GM dropped the painted polished thing spokes I jumped at those on a blk/blk coupe at the time.
