We had our c5 judged last year at the Delaware Valley Chapter( Run for the Ribbons)
It was an all day event, 5 sets of judges went over the vette. You need a 95% or higher score for Top Flight (4500 total points possible) we scored a 98.8. More importantly I learned so much about the vette I did not know, it was a great experience. Then this year we were invited to display our Vette at the NCRS Carlisle Gallery the end of August. If you want to enter yours first I would recommend buying the Tech manual from the NCRS website. You need to send an application because of limited space, they have to make sure they have enough judges for x amountt of vettes. If you think you want to give it a go, send me a pm and I will send you more detailed info.

My repainted, 6 figure mileage car I bought 3 years ago came with a NCRS sticker on the windshield. Does that count? I’ve since removed the front seats and committed other atrocities in the pursuit of using it as a sports car and not a time capsule.
Yes you have to be a member to be Flight judged, It cost 60 annually to join (2 memberships) and for the Flight judging it was 100. https://www.ncrs.org/join/ncrs-benefits.php

Kevin its hard the believe the 98's are 26 years old now, many think of c1-c3 when talking about NCRS, but they are actually working on doing early C-6's soon. Usually when the corvette reaches around 20 they start to become Flight judge eligible. There are more and more C'5 being Flight judged, but on the flip side so many were modified it may keep owners away. Most common the exhaust, I go to a show and there may be 12 C5's, I'm the only one with a stock exhaust. Also wheels (especially early wagon wheel C5's) then intake a lot of stock removed. Our C5 my wife actually bought, she hated my 79, (too short to reach the pedals lol) It was so clean and low miles when she bought it (19K in 2016) I felt I should leave it be. A lot cheaper on wallet too The Corvette is like a member of the family, helped to distract us through some tough times, including my colon cancer (remission now) Now our 2 year old grandson loves it, he makes me open the door, so he can climb in lol
Here is poster board she designed
Quite a few C4 ZR-1 and Grand Sport owners have gone through the process.
I'm going with two of my fellow club members that are having their C4's Flight judged on the 21st this month at Delaware valley Chapter event. One a 95 Pace Car the other a 96 Collectors Edition, I'll let you guys know if I see any C5's being judged that day.
I wonder if i should have my 03 judged, my car is a 50th Anniversary convertible, and it just turned 11.000 miles and It has not had anything but the tires changed out and the EBCM and 2 front magnetic ride shocks were changed, other wise it is all original !
A gentlemen named Robert Casey put out a series of books, C4, C5 and C6, I think he also has a Camaro series. Very nice guy, a few years back I emailed him and we have chatted back and forth over the years, I was looking for additional info on our Corvette which he provided. You can find his books on Amazon. He has access to GM data base.
