Anybody know the specs on the 3 screws that hold the black plastic headlight fairing to the headlight? I replaced the stripped plastic headlight motor gears today and lost a couple of the fairing screws to the nether regions of the engine bay. Yes, I know I can take one of the remaining screws to the hardware store and try to match it, but if there's a spec it'll make it easier to zero in on the right screw. TIA!
I used two of these as a temporary fix, but would recommend ones with a flater head so it doesn't come so close when the lights flip up or down, came from local chain auto store
Got these from Home Depot, and the fit is great. Be nice if they were black, but I figure no one’s gonna see it coz it’ll be dark when the screws are even visible.
When I lost one and to replace the one dad must have lost earlier I took one I had left to a local old school hardware store, found an almost exact copy.

Paint markers are useful for this reason. I generally have a few colors - black, silver, white, red, etc. The tend to dry fairly quick too.
