Default Buying used headers

I found a good deal on a set of used LG long tube headers, what should I be on the lookout for as far as condition? All the welds seem to be fine from what I can tell. I was thinking of cleaning them up a bit and having them ceramic coated, any tips for cleaning?

Seller isn't 100% sure, but thinks there are roughly 3000 miles on them.

Thanks

I bought some used Dynatech headers, x-pipe, and cats with some miles from a Forum-member last year, no issues. I would recommend however that you get them ceramic temperature coated.

I was planning on it, or at least pricing it out from the place I've used before. Did you do inside and outside?

Coating them inside & out costs as much as a set of used headers. Something to keep in mind.

Probably $500-ish for Jet Hot and you’ll need to pay for shipping. Might be more practical/cost effective to wrap them. Or, just slap them on 👍

Just make sure the flanges are not warped. Heat likes to make steel move around.
I don't mind used parts, but headers would not be my first choice with used. Personally I would ( and did) just buy a set of the Speed Engineering new and slap them on as is. They fit great make power and are cheap.

Jet Hot is nice but lets be honest. If your already looking at used headers why bother spending $500-600 on something that isn't going to make much difference.
