This may seem odd , but I had an adapter for a 12 CD player in the rear of my 03 coupe. Plug the cable into the harness where the CD cartridge goes, and there was a long cord with an Iphone plug on it. You could run it under the carpet to the console box and connect your Iphone and play music through the radio with the CD control .
The adapter was a Peripheral Electronics PHXGM1 . When I sold the car , I took out the adapter and gave it to a friend on the Forum . Now, I have a C5 2004 Commemorative Edition, but I can't find that adapter anywhere. I checked with the company and can't find it on their site . Does anyone have one , or know of a company that makes one of these things? I don't want a new radio, just to play music through the system.
If you just want your phone to come through the radio an FM transmitter is in the $20 range. That's the best value but if you're in a crowded FM area or drive through one often it can be a hassle. Audio area might have better suggestions.
Those things suck and are useless. Thanks ,but no thanks. I'm looking for something that plugs directly into the CD disc player in the trunk compartment.

Did you actually read the review in post 3 Ralphyboy? "You can get several versions. One plugs into the changer harness in the trunk."
