Default Wheels for C5 Base Coupe

Looking to upgrade from the OEM wheels on my '03 red Vette......tires are small, 245/45/ZR17 and 285/40/ZR18. I have not bought aftermarket wheels in about 30 years.......18 and 19 wheels, will they work? What do I need to look for in sizing when looking at wheels online?
Sorry for the newbie-wheel question

Thanks

Gonna bump up to 18/19 tires, these 17/18 tires are 5 years old, plus there are a lot more wheel options in that size.

It drives me bananas when people say base c5 lol. Don't sell yourself short. You have a c5 that happens to be a coupe. Great looking C5 btw.

Also the wheelwells and suspension fitment are identical between all c5s including Z06s.

If you want a very nice aftermarket wheel that is good quality but not ridiculously expensive, I recommend the Forgestar CF5s or F14s.

I used "Base" because that's what a lot of the online wheel stores designate......guess I've been looking at them too much lately

I bought this C5 about 3 weeks ago......sold my '23 Vette, got the C5 for my daily, and also got this:

You should have no problems going to an 18/19 setup. Just get the proper offset and tire combination front/rear and enjoy the new look.

Another vote for Z06 wheels. Get the 18's all the way around and put at least a 285 tire on all 4. These cars look great with wider tires at all 4 corners.

these are the stock two sizes and are polished aluminum, and add these, a z06 sway bar up front and in the back, and z06 shocks all around, leave your base springs and you will be all smiles. you would have to do something really crazy to get the car sideways with these on there. now you have to choose the tires, i run summer tires and i can feel the difference when the roads start getting cold so balance that in to the equation. i have all season michelin super sports on the base polished rims and summer tires on the z06 wheels

i also run non-run flats and have a GTO space saver in the trunk

Called about 20+ dealers, very hard to find anything.....no one had 19's in much of anything......

Ended up:
C7 Z06 Chrome, 18x8.5/56mm front, 18x9.5/57mm rear
Nitto NT555 G2 265/35/R18 front, Nitto NT555 G2 295/40/R18 rear

Thanks for the replies!

C6 wheels fit great. Just use a 20mm spacer out back bc C6 rear offset is different.

Thanks.....rear wheels have a 57mm offset......I thought that was the exact number to hit? So, the offset is supposed to be 77mm?

Tire rack might still have Flo One F4 wheels left.

I have a 18x9.5 +50 offset. 275 35 front tire
19x10.5 +55 offset. 305 30 rear tire

no spacers required.
Rear tire only pokes about 1/8 inch. Can’t even notice it. Probably because it’s not a +57 offset.
