I really want to have a squared setup to rotate and want to go with the widest possible. I would like to use a 17-18 in wheel, nothing bigger. I also would like to get aftermarket carbon fiber quarter panels but in wide body form. Has anyone done a square setup with wide body? I want to go with as much carbon fiber as possible to reduce weight everywhere. Already looking to swap out my seats.
I'm sure you can find the info you're after there. Seems like very little limitations to a square set-up on this car.

The only reason to get fender flares is to fit wider tires and wheels back these and not look hee haw with them sticking out.
Square with regular fenders I have experience with.
You *can fit a 305 on there and max out the rear wheel well. It will fit up front as well mostly. But up front it will be rubbing the fender covers in wide turns.
285 seems the magic number where even up front they won't rub or only barely. Brands vary too.
I might also ask if this is for street or track intention. If track, go right ahead. On the street however, anything up front which is 295 or larger feels notably heavy on the steering wheel vs anything smaller. Not advocating running less tire, but it is a better driving experience in the 265 to 275 front widths.
I don't mind doing some trimming up front to avoid rubbing. I mentioned wider fenders because I want to go with as much carbon fiber as possible. Already put order for a carbon fiber hood and doors. With that wider setup, perhaps I can go with 18x11 but instead of +58 offset, it could be lower. Possibly even an 18x10.5 - 0 offset. 25.4mm equals and inch I believe..

Why? You'll probably just end up screwing up your scrub radius. Just looking for deep dished wheels?
I do like a deep dish look, can't lie about that. I definitely want to fill out the wheel well especially after going with a wider fender.
Gotcha. If you don't want to change your steering geometry you want to keep the center of the tire in the same place. For front in particular you're inner clearance limited. 315 already rub a bit on full lock. Rear there is more room to push. I know some road race guys use 335, but the drag guys probably know more about rear tire fitment. 50+mm change is a ton. I'd probably be looking to keep the offset gain under 20mm.

Looking at some wider fenders, they're roughly an inch wider in front and 1.25 in wider in the back. Going low to a 0 offset would be too much. Somewhere around +20mm offset is sounding like a better fit. Thanks for the info.

They are Apex 18x12.5 with a 52mm offset. They are made for C6/7 widebody cars, but with a 315 on them they barely clear the fenders of a non widebody. If you end up getting flared fenders you could easily do a 335 tire square, but I dont think many of the performance 200TW companies make a 335. For street only I think there are a handful of Summer tires that are offered in 335 width.
