The driver's side visor on my convertible is falling apart and needs to be replaced. I've seriously considered replacing both with C7 visors but those are really scarce/expensive. Yes, I can buy a pair of cloth & cardboard generic C5 units, cheap, but I would really like to find some higher quality visors, maybe leather. Anyone know of a place that might offer what I'm looking for?
TIA
These are the exact same set that C&S and other Corvette vendors are selling at 1/3 the price on Amazon. Below is a direct link.
C&S probably also sells the cheap, cardboard visors for 1/3 the price. These newer units are made with a plastic injection-molded body (as opposed to the original cardboard), and improved hinge, similar to the C7 units..
Guess no one watched the video.

I did watch the video and I'm local to C&S. The ones I purchased from Amazon are the exact same ones shown in the video down to the packaging, with the plastic guts, LED vanity lights and removable sticker but at 1/3 the price. The visors with cardboard guts are either the OEM visors or replica OEM visors with halogen vanity lights. Stay away from those unless you want the same problems over time as the OEM visors.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, Al. Can you post a good link for the good ones on Amazon?
Another option. Maybe leave the visors off. After removing the old ones in my convertible and waiting for the new ones to arrive , I really liked the added viability of not having them at the top of the windshield. They have been off for almost 2 years and do not miss them at all.
When I had my C5 vert I showed it most every weekend and always had the top down. However, I would fold the visors down to protect them from wind and sun. That's the solution.

Here are some pics of the visors installed that can be compared to the video. If the Amazon link doesn't work, just search for the Busidn store or:
