On April 4th of this year my neighborhood was struck by a tornado. Had 35k worth of damage to my house and property. It's 99% finished but on Sunday this happened. The vette is safe and at my brothers house but if what the bible says is true, I am guessing Locusts are next up. Had small electrical fire that spread pretty quick. Meeting with insurance agent this afternoon...meanwhile it's Holiday Inn for me......
I agree......................and with respect to "things happen in 3s", I've heard that saying a number of times. In you're case, I think #3 has happened, as you're in a Holiday Inn!!

Well as proof I'm a vette nut, when I walked into the garage to a wall of smoke, first thing I did was move it out and away. Good thing to because this is what the garage looks like now.
Sorry for your loss. At least it's just material stuff. Been there when I lost my home, Corvette and boat in a hurricane flood with no home flood insurance. One of my favorite lines in a Jimmy Buffet song is "breathe in, breathe out, move on". Good luck moving forward.
Dang...not sure what you can do about that ahead of time. Glad you got your Vette out! But sorry about the hassle. Hopefully get everything back good as new soon. Probably hard to think about it this way right now...but a lot to be thankful for...could have been so much worse. Hang in there, brother!
