Default key fob training...

drove my car over the past two days on a weekend getaway, keyfob worked totally fine. Got home, unplugged my window valet from the obd port to check to see if the sensors finally read as ready (aside, the evap is still reading not ready... wtf...), plug the valet back in, and now my key fob isn't working. Not only that, it won't train. Tried replacing battery.

IS there a trick I'm missing? I only mention the window valet becuase that's literally the only thing I did to the car since I got it home. do I need the car to be running to train the fobs?

I have all kinds of trouble to get my 2nd fob to learn. I've pretty much given up trying for fob 2.
Hit options until the DIC message is blank

Hold Reset until it response
The two options on this menu are tire training and fob training
Get to the fob training section, then hit reset again
Hold lock and unlock until it response with 1st fob learned

Repeat for second fob

You must have held your mouth just right and it worked. (Reference to an old saying there.)

Glad you finally got it programmed.
