as you can see i had a little time on my hands so here is the result. was inspecting the underneath as usual and happened to notice when looking at the rear louvers all I could see was a muffler. thought there was something that could be done to make it look a little better. I used a length of leaf guard from menards and cut up a piece to cover the opening. was about a 4 dollar mod. I know you can't see the openings unless you kneel down but but that's ok. would like to see some of these mods that forum members have done. I know there are probably a bunch.

A similar mod was offered by vendors years ago and may in fact still be offered, but not from leaf guard material. However, your mod works great, looks good and certainly is priced right.
thanks for the reply LWSZ06. I looked at the correct screen material and liked the stuff I used much better. McMaster stuff was ok and a little pricey with shipping for the small job I was doing. also used mine for the license plate mod and the lower facia openings. you can check out the gutter screen on the license plate mod I just posted. thanks again
Went to HD about 5-6 years ago. Bought a piece of stainless steel screen, diamond shaped opening.
