Default Strange Question

So I had some old LS1 fuel rail covers which I refurbished. I want to do some type of wall art featuring the covers with the Intake in the middle. Anyone have any suggestions on how I would go about getting a junk intake and somehow slicing the top off to lay flat in between the covers? Picture kind of shows what I'm going for (a top view for my wall).

Some vendors make covers for the intake. Maybe get one of those and paint it to your taste?

Didn't think of that. I could go that way if I can find something cheap. Thanks for the suggestion.

As these guys said above, band saw would be great. Maybe bolt the intake to a jig holding it square so you're not freehanding it sliding it through the saw.
