I need to replace the exhaust on our 99 C5 FRC due to an unfortunate mishap. Our Vette has 120,000 miles on it and running well. It is stock and well-maintained. I was considering the EX1002 axle back system as an alternative to others on the market. I am looking for a reasonable sounding exhaust. The car presently has a Borla system that has been on the car since we owned it - purchased in 2008.
Has anyone had any experience - good or bad - with the product with this product/system?
Go to YouTube and search "C5 Exhaust". There will be a lot of videos. You will get some indication of sound and tone. As somewhat of a rule, the bigger the muffler, the quieter the sound.
I just went from SLP Loudmouth to OEM C5 Z06 Titanium exhaust. It's definitely a major difference, and more tame to drive. C5 Z06 Titanium exhaust is never a bad choice.

I had a B&B Route 66 on my 2000 and a Corsa Indy Pace Car on my 2003. The B&B was definitely quieter and the Corsa, but the Corsa really came alive as the throttle was increased. Both were very good quality products, but the B&B had a drone to it that was solved by the addition of a Bassani X-pipe.
