Guys, I will be helping a friend adjust the tilt ( in/out) on the side windows as they are now leaking. It looks pretty straight forward but I wanted to reach out to the forum for and tips.
One question is the removal of the door reflector. It looks like simply lifting up slightly and pulling out and down. Is that correct?
The rubber plug on the bottom looks pretty simple.
Simply loosen the jam nut and turn the adjuster counter clockwise to move it in as far as I can see.
Any other tips or insights are appreciated.

It sounds like you've done your homework. It's pretty easy to do. Only thing I can think of off hand is the reflector might be pretty brittle. Be careful when pulling it out as the tabs that hold it on the top may break off. I've replaced both mine as that's what happened to them.
