I like the NOCO Genius 2. It has 4 different Modes: 12V, AGM 12V, Lithium 12V, & 6V.

Optima and Battery tender are also good choices. I have a Optima Charger and maintainer and a number of Battery tender maintainers. I have three cars that do not out much in winter months so I plug them in to the tenders per they are cheap and use the Optima to charge.

1st, does an Optima battery have a good warranty.

Second, I have never used a battery tender. My car is garaged in the winter months, I just charge the battery back up with a battery charger if it goes dead. I have never had any problems with batteries, my Dad retired from a Midas Muffler shop, used Midas batteries for years, they last just as expected, 5-8 years or so.

Third, sorry, no advice on battery tenders, bump for someone with more options on battery tenders.

I've used em from the beginning since C5's birth-day!... That C5 drain monster needs to have em... It's a GM thing 🙄

I have the Noco genius 1, seems the same but it charges at 1 amp vs 2 amps.

Bought one at autozone for about $35.49 and I think it has 5 year warranty, bought a 2nd on one of those Amazon sales for $19.99 but 3 year warranty.

Use the 2nd on 1965 C10 pickup and a motorcycle that’s not being rode.

I let the motorcycle battery get drained bad and thought it was ruined, the Noco genius did it’s repair mode and made it like new again.

The motorcycle is supposed to be picked up by a family member and it’s been over 1.5 years since I put a new battery in it from Batteries Plus, only a 6 month warranty on motorcycle batteries.

Leave it on the C5 most of the time, other than driving since summer 2022 when buying noco genius one.

If you want one now your autozone should have one, looks they sell the genius 2 and other models also.

Find a 78 series AGM battery for the car - AC Delco makes a good battery.

When I had my C5s, I used a Deltran Battery Tender Plus to keep the battery fully charged. CTEK also makes excellent battery maintainers for the C5.

Yeah I found the NOCO-5 and I think this will be just the right unit to leave it on for the winter. I have been knocking about and in the Colmun, FWIW My 2003 50th convertible with is super OEM, I found the my Optima Red Top in the car for 10 days, the parasite drawn is Just about half a volt from 12.73 down to 12.45 .
