I am very close to purchasing a 2002 Z06. The factory wheels are not chrome plated but instead they look like the are powder coated in a grey tone. Is this normal for this car? I thought they all came with the chrome finish. Also, where is the radio antenna located. For the life of me I looked at the car but when the seller opened up the hood I forgot about checking out everything esle! Duh!!!!
Those are the stock wheels and the antenna is located at the passenger side rear top of the quarter panel, just off the trunk lid. You'll love this car.........I like mine! :steering: Bill
Like the guys here say - all the z06 chromies are aftermarket - some are chromed stock wheels and some are repop.
Don't feel bad, I had even had chevy salesmen say things like "Oh, you have the chrome wheels..." like I ordered it that way.
Some folks install an electric antenna, so it would not be as noticable on the car - this is a fairly easy install and may be why you didn't notice the location, but the antenna is on the passensger side rear fender-top.
I bought another one and cut it down to 12" for a better look.
