No, the seat bottoms on a C5 Corvette cannot be directly swapped from driver to passenger side. The seat bases are contoured differently to fit the seat controls and mounting points, and the bolsters are shaped for specific side support.

The '02 and earlier cars did not have the slits for child car seat latch anchors. 2003 and 2004 the passenger seat bottoms have the slits. Which wouldn't be ideal aesthetically on the driver seat.
I swapped in a passenger seat bottom foam & cover to driver side 10 years ago. You'd never know the difference unless you pull the seat out... or I told you on this post.
