No, the seat bottoms on a C5 Corvette cannot be directly swapped from driver to passenger side. The seat bases are contoured differently to fit the seat controls and mounting points, and the bolsters are shaped for specific side support.

Bottom bottom...or foam and cover? Yes, on the foam and cover can be swapped. The seat bottom foam is the same. As are the covers...mostly. Once flipped the original holes on the covers will be up against the torque tube tunnel and not visible at all (until you remove the seat again). You will need to make new holes for your power controls, bezel mounting screw, and recline lever. The rest of the seat cover is essentially the exact same on '97 to '02 cars.
The '02 and earlier cars did not have the slits for child car seat latch anchors. 2003 and 2004 the passenger seat bottoms have the slits. Which wouldn't be ideal aesthetically on the driver seat.
I swapped in a passenger seat bottom foam & cover to driver side 10 years ago. You'd never know the difference unless you pull the seat out... or I told you on this post.
