It didn't work. Too much torque is needed.
Scratch that. I tried with an old serpentine belt mixed into the strap for the rubber grip, and it was too loose the first try, so I tightened it again, and with the torque wrench set to 235 ft lb, and the help of my dad, we were tightening it and lo and behold, the click sounded to my ecstacy. It did actually work, I just needed to make sure the ratchet strap was re-tightened.
