Using frame rail protectors for lifting

Using frame rail protectors for lifting
My car has full length aluminum frame rail/rocker protectors. They are not the kind with built in jacking pucks. Can't I just use the rubber blocks with my quick jack and lift from the frame rail protector?

I also have the frame rail protectors from Elite Engineering and use my Quick Jack with them all the time. I just make sure the rubber blocks are positioned where the jacking pucks would mount and the rail is centered on the blocks. No issues.
