Hey guys, I recently slammed my C5Z on longer bolts, and I knew the ride quality was going to be worse; however, I love the look. The question is, have any of you upgraded to different shocks to improve the ride quality while being lowered on longer bolts? And if so, which shocks did you go with?
TIA!
With a slammed Vette You should look at the Bilstein shock (B6), for even better handling the DRM Bilstein shocks. The C6Z shocks were C5Z shocks valved for a heavier car and will raise the car slightly.

The Bilsteins from DRM start with the B8 models which are 1" shorter (designed to work with a lower ride height) compared to the stock length Bilstein B6 replacement units.
Bilsteins are rough, C6Z shocks are rough. OEM replacement shocks will probably be rough. You want a cushy ride? Buy a good set of adjustable coilovers and put them on the softest setting. I have Y rated tires on mine. W rated and stock tire sizes or close to it will be softer but probably not noticeable. Good luck with your build.
