Ha! Yeah, got back into slot cars for my great nephew, he didn't last long, more into outdoor sports, but I kept building the track setup.
But, since that video it hasn't progressed or been run.

So, finally went for the first drive with the new steering wheel, been nasty weather around here for a while.
Yesterday morning the weather broke and got sunny and hot, so I did some badly needed driveway repair with concrete, so that boxed me in until it had set, but the good weather held out overnight and up until about 3pm today.
So, about noon I broke the Corvette out of the garage and went to do some errands and filled the gas tank up for the first time since buying it.
Took a bit to find my comfortable grip on the new wheel, and the few times I stopped and got out, then back in, pointed out the need to either tilt the wheel all the way up, or make sure I had the flat bottom of the wheel down to make it so I could easily get my legs swung out.
But, the wheel didn't come off in my hands, and the horn works like it is supposed to (didn't test it during wheel install, but tested it thoroughly when an idiot cut me off!) so the new wheel is a success!

So, my video on youtube for this steering wheel install had a perfect 100% "like" score up until today.
Best performing video I've ever done, 400 views and 13 likes in just a couple of weeks since it's been up, until some joker gave it a thumb down!
I had been riding pretty high with my video and its like score, and am now so disappointed...

I say you should be proud of it. One thing I've learned thru all aspects of life, you use to have thick skin at times. Some people aren't happy unless they're making others miserable. Brush it off and look at the positive from it. 😎👍

Oh, I know.
Some people try to make themselves feel superior by pushing others down.
