Default Ceramic panit coatings

Good morning everyone.
I need your advise and assistance on the following item.
I have one coat of NexGen Ceramic paint coating on my 1997 Corvette. I recently purchased Adams Graphene Ceramic Advance paint coating. Can I apply this Adams paint coating treatment over the NexGen ceramic paint treatment? Has anyone done this, and if so what was the results.
Thanks in advanced
James

I think that generally you should stick to products for the same company. Otherwise you would need to buff the original coating off before applying the new coating. I work for a producer of detailing products and this is our recommended practice.

I would go to a reputable paint shop and ask them to give their opinions on the coating and have them apply. JMHO.

I use the same brand of ceramic coating each year and I still prep the surface before I apply a new coating. Get a good clay wash mitt and use lots of soap. Was the cash normally with good soapy water, rinse. Then wash a second time but use the clay mitt and use lots of soap. You can feel the smoothness of the surface after you use the mitt. the mitt or your hand will start to glide across the paint after you have removed the contaminants from the surface. Rinse and dry, then apply your ceramic coating of choice. Amazing how good it looks when you are done and makes washing the car so much easier.

Tons of video's on YT.

I would definitely not mix ceramic coatings. Heck I wouldn't even apply the same brand coating over an old coating.
