Default C5 Window Adjustment

I recently replaced the seals on the Targa top along with the seal that runs along the rear of the Targa top and windows and also recently replaced the window regulators. I can see that I need to adjust the window tilt and probably a little bit on the height but I think I may need to adjust the window forward a little bit to make the proper seal at the back, but I don't have a reference to go by to know how the window should look on the seal. I was wondering if someone may be kind enough to post a picture of how their window sets up against the seal so I have a reference, it would greatly appreciated. I have attached a picture of what mine looks like now. I can see the edge of the glass on the rear of the window and that does not seem correct to me.

Thank you in advance!

I don’t think a pic of my window placement vs. your window placement would help you. Especially since you have new rubber.

First, I adjusted my window by looking at where it seated best to the rubber. Then I road tested it several times and made adjustments to eliminate wind noise. Finally I water tested it with a garden hose.

Hope this helps - Good Luck!

Which weatherstrips did you get? Those do not look like my CRC, and that back top corner looks quite off. I think I have a photo or three -- will look for them. Can't get to the car at the moment.

oktx, thanks for the picture. this does answer my questions, the edge of my glass sticks out a bit further and am hoping the tilt in and height adjustment will take care of everything but I made need to slide the entire window towards the back of the car a little bit (hoping not to though). I really don't get much wind noise, replacing the seals was a major improvement for that, I still get some water in the car when I wash it.

They are CRC then, to my knowledge the best weatherstrips available today.
