Anybody here using HP Tuners on a C5? How good is its diagnostic and bidirectional capabilities? Does it have the ability to do a steering angle sensor reset?
Hey Bud !!…I bought HP Tuners just to see what all the hub bub was about with this thing but it is just a crappy generic scan tool at best…it has no bidirectional capabilities that I know of and if it does it may have just a few and the ONLY thing I’d use it for is changing fan settings and that kind of stuff…you get a good bidirectional scan tool from Autel for less than $500 but the higher the cost you can do a little more if your budget allows…Launch is another one I use and you can find some inexpensive ones.
HP Tuners is the go-to for remapping engine and trans ECUs.
Amazing capabilities for that.
Using it currently to remap for a bigger cam.
Not much (none?) diagnostic capability for other areas.
