Anyone have any idea on what kind (model etc) of air box is on my 04 ? I am 90% sure it's not the OEM one. OEM part number for the filter is no where close to being the right size. I've googled pics of C5 air boxes and I couldn't find this one.
Definitely a Vararam. I have it on my car.
The filter element is washable and reusable, no need to replace it if it's not damaged.
I saw that (washable etc) when I was looking for a replacement. This one is toast .... I don't think it had ever been washed/cleaned. I'll just start from scratch and take care of it myself. Thanks for the info though !!
Vararam air filters get dirty fast. If you drive it a lot. Probably clean it on a yearly basis. Installing screens will help keep some of the big chunks out, but small debris and dust particles will still get up there.
