LSeat is feel very cheap. The price is low if you compare with the others. Are you sure it's good deal ? I don't drive my car every day ! Only twice the month. Perhaps, L Seat is enought for this use. Thank you for yours advices

many ‘less expensive” products can look much better than their price if one takes the time to do the job right. I strongly recommend new foam, at least for the seat bottom. As previously mentioned burlap is a good foundation to prevent the wires from cutting thru but there are other things available like rug padding and ballistic nylon.
there’s a reason you see car seat upholsterers (Like Al Knoch’s guys do at Carlisle) “fighting, punching” and other ‘aggressive’ procedures to get the new cover to fit right, but it works. The covers need to be pulled tight. I’ve hate hog rings since I first encountered them 60 years ago, so I experimented with good zip ties and they worked great.

I like the zip tie idea I’ll try that when I do the Rover👍
Hello,
Do you know DSA Seat Factory in Houston ? Their seat cover would be made in Houston.
Did you have any experience with them? https://www.dsaseatfactory.com/fr/contact/
no, not familiar with them. I just checked the website and for C5’s they seem to offer only seat bottoms. I also did the $$$$ conversion and the price was no bargain. I suggest you look at ridies.com and interiorinnovations.com
Although this is an old thread, seeing as OP is still asking questions...
IMHO, don't waste your time buying leather-wrapped parts from vendors. I did that for my dash, and although it was high quality, you'll end up spending about the same, and getting exactly what you want by going to a high-quality, local upholsterer. I went to a local guy that did private jet interiors, and other than the dash, he did everything in my car (and removed/installed the dash for me). If I was going to do it again, I'd had just had him do the entire interior, a lot less work on my end and looks better, and you can select whatever leather quality/color/style and stitching that you want. For reference, here's my interior, w/ c7 seats:
Was going to ask, who did the work? That looks like class! Love it!
I had it done by a local upholsterer when I lived in NY, they did interiors for private business jets. Generally, the leather used in private jets is of better quality than automotive, and it shows.
Some of the pieces I got from Apsis

It’s the best leather C5 interior that I’ve seen. Total class! It’s interesting that you’re finding a difference in leather quality in aircraft vs automotive. Was given a bottle of leather aircraft seat conditioner by a private pilot, and my C5 seats are like new, maybe better. Sounds like there’s something to the aircraft grade leather, including the products they use to keep it perfect.
