The EXT from my knowledge is the EV variant that's WAY too long for our cars. Honestly the TLX is the longest that would fit under the car, but you would need their adapter. Even my 5000TL is too wide from the jack points for a standard car buy I have the Skid Rail

At 43 years old, my first brake job ever was on my C5. I was surprised how easy it was. I recommend Quickjack to anyone that wants to get started on car repairs. Ultimately you’re gonna need a two post lift for larger jobs. Laying on your back underneath the car is no fun for someone out of shape. But sitting in a chair doing a brake job, flawless.

The ELX is the EV version. The EXT and the TLX are both 76” and will fit.

Yep. I am retiring next summer and then plan to put a lift in my shop.
Two accessories that I STRONGLY recommend are the Sport/Compact Drop-In Tray Set and the SUV Adapter Kit. I have my Z06 in the air right now with the SUV Adapter Kit. The extra few inches of height is so nice.
It adds a couple minutes when you are raising/lowering the car, though. You have to raise it with normal pucks, lower it onto jackstands or wheel cribs, swap the normal pucks out for the SUV Adapter Kit, then finish lifting the car.

I don't think there is actually anything on a c5 that can't be accomplished on quickjacks. Unless you've done something weird like weld your headers to a midpipe or something. I've seen someone do every major job on them. Of course some of them are easier on a full lift, but it gets the job done.
Congrats on getting a very useful item for the garage.
Thank you sir! Looking at all the comments from the group on the way these work on the Corvette's, it seemed like a "must have". I feel lucky to have found a near new set close by at a great price.
Now you're ready for the inevitable.... But really, congrats on the new tool. They make every task much easier and safer than jackstands.
I'm sure it will come to that eventually. I have been in the automotive business and working on cars/trucks for almost 50 years. My first Corvette. Have had 11 Camaro's from '67-2011. But I am really liking this car and my wife says it suits me. Happy this forum is around and all you great people are willing to help. Sure makes things a lot easier!
