Not long ago, someone here posted about buying a C5 shifter off of Amazon or Ebay for around $210 and liked it alot. However, I can't seem to find that post, again.
Any of you remember who it was?
Man - $200 seems way to cheap for a quality piece. That's what a Hurst or B&M cost 25 years ago (and they were a bargain).
I see used C6 shifters on Ebay for $150-$200
Otherwise if you want quality and trying to control budget, maybe do an exchange with T-Mod https://tmodcustoms.com/collections/all

Same. I knew I had to do something with the shifter but I wasn’t sure about going to an expensive short throw shifter. The tmod option was perfect for me and just what the car needed. It’s one of those “should have come from the factory like this” things.
The T-Mod lower box upgrade (poly mounts) will improve any shifter, even the factory shifter. I did that and was happy and then eventually got their T-Mod 20% shifter. It has a bit of rattle when mashing the gas, however it shifts like a fine bolt action rifle = smooottthhh.... I really like the T-Mod.
Very subjective topic. Every one is different!
That reminds me: I need to check on Ray to see how he likes his Tmod shifter or if he has installed it yet. He grabbed one used and I've been wanting to pick his brain.
