HUD question

Hi, I just recently purchased a 2004 C5. My HUD is on but is not responding to anything. None of the controls change it except the up / down button. It doesn’t dim and the page button doesn’t affect it. It is showing LL in the main area, with basically all other information iluminated. Is there a way to reset the unit to get it working properly?

Does it properly perform the self test when you turn on the ignition?
Page 69 of this document has some troubleshooting methods. Might not apply to your 04, claims to be applicable to an 01.
