HEY!....anyone have experience with non OEM air dam replacements? Not going with OEM at $500....that is just ridiculous!
Have seen a couple Corvette vendors with the three piece set for $130-$150; then there are the ones on ebay for $75-$100.
Anyone???
Thanks

Been through 2. The first one was $129 off Amazon and it got destroyed quick and really not sure why. Just came apart. 2nd set was $86 of Amazon and that thing is doing great. Holding up strong after 8 track days and street driving. Not sure why the difference.
+1 on Amazon. I’m still on my first replacement, it was around $130 some years ago, came with all new hardware that I used for other purposes, since the OEM hardware was still fine.
Miracles do happen, I still have the original on my 2004 coupe with 90,000 miles. 2 nights ago, driving on the expressway, very dark outside, all of a sudden, saw a gigantic pile of deer guts in the middle of the lane, no time to swerve. Hit it dead on, I checked the car, didn’t see anything broke and the air dam hit it right in the middle, I thought it hit the front bumper. So, I got under the car today. Deer guts on the front and rear cradle, front and rear sway bars, oil pan, oil filter, exhaust pipes, and a gigantic piece of meat got stuck right in between the high Flo cats. The miracle is, I don’t think anything got damaged, not even the air dam.
Anyone hungry???
Sometimes if you use a extra large washer on the 2 end pieces they will work better as they make the Air Dam sections stay upright and tight to the fenders.
