Still have the 04 msg 6speed coupe I bought new. She has been a wonderful car. A little HPDE time, daily driver, now with LG Pro longtubes! Such fun to drive.
Added the 69 4speed coupe about 9 years ago. She gets out at least once a week.
Nov 1999 bere but I was member at some point before that. I was new to the whole interwebs thing and realized I shouldn't use my actual name, LOL. Still have both the Z16 and 2TONE82.
Missed 07’ buy a month. bought my first vett back in 79’ while I was still in high school. The C5 Z06 has change quite a bit since I bought it.
want to get another Corvette and keep it as a street car maybe a C6 Z.

Early1999 internet Forum was just questions in lines -nutty! 😵💫 - no graphics/photos etc. Wild to think how it all started. But - still very informative at the time!
A lot of good people still around, and a few good stories too.
I checked and I first logged on August 6th, 2001 after buying my first new Corvette in March of that year. It was a black/black M6 Coupe with F45 suspension, sport seats, no hud, but both the lexan and fiberglas tops. Notably, it had the first year of the polished thin spoke wheels which absolutely sold me on the car vs the prior wagon wheels.
I am on my 3rd and 4th C5 now and that will be it for me. With a family growing my needs for seats will push me to other projects, but I also will want something new to play with since I've done so much to my various C5s already.
This all started with a poster or a torch red C5 in my bedroom in '97, then in my dorm room in '98 and '99.
Thinking of old members, does anybody know where Bill Curlee went ? He was such a help to so many people on here, I hope he is well!
Bill Curlee pops on sometimes. I was showing someone the “Ranger method” of maintaining clutch fluid and realized he hasn’t been around in years. That dude definitely had the “driver mod” all manual car owners wish we had.
My profile says October of 2007 but it was actually more like March or April. I recall the site had some weird turnover where we had to re-register. Anyone remember that period?
My member’s date is 04/05
We sold our 2nd C5 to a local guy and we’re in no rush to get another yet
Good Luck to all of you guys who have made it through this journey
