I joined CF in 2004 after learning about it in an article in either Corvette Magazine or Car & Driver.
At the time, I owned a high mileage '87, and CF was the support group I needed. . . badly!

Sept 2002 for me. I look back sometimes at my older posts and realize I’ve forgotten a lot about my C5s I owned. Still miss my 2003 Z06. One of the best cars I’ve owned. Now I just commute in my C8 and wave at other vette owners. Rarely see any C5s in Houston. Are you guys hiding or something?

Well, I was here since 1999. Around the end of 2001 the Forum made some changes where you had to submit an email to keep your Name/membership. I missed the cut and had to make a new profile in March 2002. Still have my '86 that I have had since 1997 and added a 2002 in 2005.

I did the exactly same in Aug/Sept and cancelled my order when my car was to arrive in Dec when active handling was announced for ‘98. Reordered in Dec for March delivery.
Did you by chance get active handling?
