This is only my second Corvette and my first one was was about 45 years ago. I think I just needed to hear some positive feedback like yours. Thanks again.
Opportunity to buy mint 2000 C5 convertible. Torch red on red 14,000 miles. $21000. Is it worth it?
Yea sounds like a pretty good buy. I picked up an 01 Vert 2 years back with high 20'000 on her and paid $23. Be ready to spend a few bucks on the harmonic balancer and other things if they have not already been done. Nothing major just make sure that is good and road worthy Mint doesn't mean everything is reliable. things go bad just sitting there not being driven.

Sounds a little high to me but not an outrageous asking price.
Go to Autotrader and use the advanced search nationwide to see the asking prices for similar cars. That gives you an idea of asking prices for similar year/mileage/features.
Bought a Torch Red Conv 30K miles 3 years ago. $21K. Same car today is around $23K. With lower miles. they can see $25K or more depending where you live. Some areas like FL can be less since there are more Vettes for sale.
Seems like a reasonable price assuming the condition of the car is excellent and maintenance history is good, no accidents, etc. Even if the price is a little high, if it's the car you want, go for it!
