C5 Flex Fuel/TBSS Setup
I'm in the process of building a 2000 Corvette with a bit of a hodgepodge engine, and trying to figure out exactly how I want to run my fuel setup. As far as I know, the pump and lines are all original, but the engine is from a '97, and has a TBSS intake, so it is the newer style rail, injectors, and throttle body. I haven't selected injectors yet, and with this car NA, my hope is that I can manage to flow enough fuel with stock lines and improved injectors. As far as fuel goes, I have good E85 availability locally, and have another vehicle that's already proven significant cost savings in running E85 over 93 in the long run. I'm not as well informed on exactly what the setup is for flex fuel, about the most I know is that most kits use an inline flex fuel sensor, often even a GM part. Any clarity on what other changes may need to be made, or even injector suggestions (I am on a college kid budget), would be highly appreciated. If ya'll have done similar setups, information on your builds and successes and failures is all the better.
Thanks,
A Next Gen Hotrodder
Re budget, my experience with E85 and how it eats through seals over time has been sufficient to turn me away from it. The seals themselves are not hugely expensive but not cheap either. The headache is not knowing when they'll fail.
Question. Having a 1/3 less range or mpg vs pump gas is going to work where you are? I presume yes. Just checking.

I would also trade the TBSS intake for one that fits better IMO.
Keep us posted on the process!!
