FYI I you have F45, drive you cannot just replace shocks without some adjustments to the system

That set up would be fine for improved handling. C5z06 replacement shocks are AC Delco, and are probably more expensive than the Bilstein B6. IMO, just get the B6’s.

No, it doesn’t have the adjustable shocks. I specifically looked for a car without them.

I ran C6 Z06 OEM shocks on my '99 C5, they were solid.

a good place to find good used C6Z shocks is in the C6 for sale . Many of the C6Z cars are selling them and getting the Bilstein Valved shocks for better handling. The C6Z is a good shock because they are inexpensive, but remember they were valved to compensate for the heavier engine.

Have a 03 with the magnetic shock system. Even though the fronts were leaking oil they were still too harsh for me. I replaced all four with Gabriel Ultras and the difference is like night and day. Smooth ride and every crack in the pavement is not jarring. Big improvement. Never liked a harsh suspension.
