Hello. When I purchased my 2003 Anniversary Edition, I knew it had a Magnaflow exhaust. However, when I recently had the brakes bled, the tech allowed me into the bay to check out the "dirty side" of the car. Interestingly, it appears that the mid-pipes and crossover have been cut and re-welded. Any thoughts on why the previous owner would have done this?
Sidenote 1 - there is some drone to this exhaust at 1500-2000 RPM
Sidenote 2 - I highly recommend Springs Brake and Suspension in Vancouver who did the brake flush and allowed me under the car.

Sure looks stock to me, but I can't see the mufflers. Maybe someone decided the aftermarket exhaust was too noisy, and replaced it with the (a) stock one? Why would it be cut in the middle, unless someone was trying to save a few bucks on shipping?
The H-Pipe looks original to me. I could be someone replaced the cats at some point in time and chose that as a weld point.
Some people will remove the H-Pipe and cut out a baffle in the center of the "H" than reinstall to change the sound of the car.
