even though it is not the last I will see, I hope I do not come across any quite this bad for a long time. I just hope everyone remembers this the next time they start to get a little crazy for the conditions :blueangel:
ANyone driving a Vette or any car for that maatter has to understand that they are not in a toy - although we call them that - it isn't a game out there on the highway - and it isn't just your life aaat stake. I can''t blame the truck driver for being angry. Don'[t do nothin' stupiid and BE SURE you know what you are doing and it's safe before you do it. One problem is that the tires are not going to be good rain tires for long - the run-flats donn't start out with all that much tread. Hope these guys survive to do it right nexxt time.
I'd like to hear the driver of the Corvettes side of the story. Having just driven from one end of Interstate 40 to the other I can tell you first hand that some truck drivers go out of their way to screw with sports cars. Hope this was not the case here, but you never know.
What a shame. Obviously none of us know the whole story. No matter how you view it, automobile fatalities are a tragedy. My heart and prayers go out to the families of BOTH men involved.
I know some of the folks here never push their cars to any limit whatsoever, and those folks can sit back and feel better about themselves by tsk tsking the two gentlemen in this accident. But I'm not a saintly enough driver to criticize them. I'd rather sympathize with them.

:iagree: But better yet I'd rather learn from them.
 So very sad....How many of us have been in close calls, but escaped without a crash...I think we can all learn something from this, but 100 in the rain? So sad...
