[Z06] Stupid question here.

Active Handling is an independent braking system. Traction Control's job is to eliminate rear wheel spin.
For example, let's say you come up to an on ramp and you want to hammer it around to the entrance of the highway BUT, you give the motor too much gas and the car starts to fishtail...If active handling is on, then it will apply the left side rear brake if the car is fishtailing to the right and the rightside rear brake, if the car is fishtailing to the left.
If you were driving your Vette in snow or rain, and the rear tires started to spin excessively because of slickness, then your traction control system is suppose to come on and decelerate your motor, decreasing the spin.
Both AH and TC in tandem are a great safety feature. I never turn mine off unless I'm at the track and I never turn off the Active Handling...unless I'm doing a burnout.
Hope I didn't confuse ya :)
